The vision for proXimity is to accelerate drug delivery by providing trial sponsors around the world with timely and accurate source data in the EDC. proXimity enables this vision by automating the transfer of data between Providers’ EMR systems and your EDC system.
Subsequent to the limited launch of proXimity in 2022, the focus has been on establishing strategic partnerships with leading CROs to automate sponsor data transfers from EHRs to EDCs for clinical trials, helping to accelerate the performance of new therapies for patients. Following three years of robust adoption by researchers and clinicians, we are pleased to transition proXimity into a full commercial rollout.
Various proof of concept exercises to date have documented that automating data transfer from the EHR to the EDC results in up to five times faster data transfer than manual entry, and has resulted in a 0% error rate, versus 3.5% for manual entry.
